WWT London Wetland Centre

Over 100 acres of beautiful scenery, it’s like being in the countryside with the convenience of a central venue.

The WWT London Wetland Centre is the best urban site in Europe to watch wildlife and an international award winning attraction. One of nine UK wetland centres managed by the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, this 42 hectare reserve is an example of sustainable development on a grand scale. Four disused concrete reservoirs were transformed through careful landscaping and recycling of materials into a haven for wildlife and people, which opened to the public in May 2000.

WWT London Wetland Centre is a lush wildlife oasis with lakes, ponds and gardens where you can combine the beauty and tranquillity of a rural setting with the convenience and sophistication of the City.

The London Wetland Centre is a lush wildlife oasis with lakes, ponds and meadows just 10 minutes from Hammersmith.
