The National Army Museum -
Transformed through a £24.75 million investment, the Museum’s major re-development of its Chelsea site has involved the complete re-presentation of the Museum’s displays and facilities, including dedicated public spaces for retail, café and Corporate Hire, to ensure the Museum sits at the forefront of military museums in the 21st century.
The Museum’s mission is to connect people with the British Army and its soldiers – the men and women who serve the country and keep us safe. Through five new galleries the public will be able to explore what it’s like to be a soldier; why we have army and its origins in the people of the country; how the British Army has fought in conflicts – past and present; and explore British society’s sometimes conflicted relationship with the army. The Museum holds world-class collections relating to the British Army and is supported by a well-developed Collections facility at Stevenage.
This is a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to join a passionate and committed team to develop, manage and support the Museum’s commercial and visitor experience operations. The successful candidates will work within the Museum’s independent trading arm, National Army Museum Trading Ltd (NAMTL).
