Beautiful Blushes For A 'Would Be' Wedding By Food Show

Wednesday, October 21, 2020 - 11:30

When Food Show one of London's leading event caterers got a call from Raspberry Bespoke Events they knew it was going to be a fabulous affair! And the ‘would be wedding’ afternoon tea was a pure joy to collaborate on.

At the beginning of August they were asked to cater for an elegant afternoon tea for a wonderful couple whose dream wedding had been put on hold until 2021due to COVID-19.  The couple were determined not to be downhearted and decided to celebrate their ‘would be wedding day’ with a very intimate family gathering.

Set in their beautiful garden in Berkshire, the al fresco afternoon tea was the most perfect celebration. As the families arrived Champagne and iced mocktails were served.  Guests were then called to their seats and a most beautiful table filled with soft hues of summer floral arrangements and traditional crockery.  A selection of dainty afternoon tea sandwiches including Coronation chicken; honey roasted York ham with Applewood cheese; smoked salmon with dill cream cheese; egg mayonnaise with mustard cress and minted cream cheese with cucumber were served.  Patisserie treats of lemon meringue pie with confit candy lemon; summer berry tartlets with crème patisserie; mini chocolate eclairs with salted caramel dusted in gold and traditional freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and English strawberry conserve were served to delighted guests.

Food Show were delighted to be a part of the team involved in creating this magical celebration, which included:
