Located on the first floor at the front of Battersea Arts Centre, accessed via an opulent marble staircase, the wood-panelled Council Chamber is a timeless event space.

Light, spacious and versatile, the Council Chamber is perfect for those looking for real creative flair with the ability to transform for a variety of different events.

Hire of the Council Chamber comes with direct access to the Members’ Library which acts as a breakout space and additional function room. The Members’ Library can be transformed into a bar, breakout room, dance floor or whatever additional space your event calls for.

The Council Chamber is available 3 months of the year in January, July and September.

Council Chamber Capacities: 120 sit-down dinners, 140 theatre-style, up to 160 standing

Suitable for: Weddings, conferences, dinners, lectures, concerts, private parties, birthdays

Rates: Wedding packages start from £5,775 + VAT for the Council Chamber, £6,000 + VAT for the staircase (Sundays only) and £4,000 + VAT for a ceremony only on the staircase (Sundays only 11am-1pm).
