If you’re looking for an events space that is out of this world, look no further than Exploring Space at the Science Museum. As one of the museum’s most popular attractions, this evocative gallery tells the fascinating story of space exploration and showcases satellites, probes, landers, and actual space rockets.
Available for evening hire, Exploring Space is the ideal landing site for a drinks reception for up to 300 guests or dinner for 180. A long table situated directly under the rocket for maximum impact can host up to 80 guests.
During their time in the gallery, guests can find out how the Space Age started with the launch of Sputnik 1 and explore how we’ve sent spacecrafts to other planets, walked on the Moon, and peered into the heart of our galaxy and beyond.
Exhibits contained within the gallery and waiting to be uncovered include a full-sized replica of the ‘Eagle’, the lander that took astronauts Armstrong and Aldrin to the Moon in 1969, and the Soyuz TMA-19M descent module that Tim Peake returned to earth in on 18 June 2016.
