The Great Hall at Two Temple Place is one of London’s true hidden gems. Inside the mysterious and imposing Gothic façade you’ll find a warm and intimate oak panelled interior and unparalleled craftsmanship.
Built in 1895 Two Temple Place was the Estates office for William Waldorf Astor, the richest man in the world at the time. He spared no expense building and creating this homage to English architecture with Elizabethan style wood panelling and intricate bespoke details around the whole House.
The Great Hall was once Astor’s office and is the most impressive room in the House. With its spectacular stain glass windows, vaulted ceiling and gold gilded historical figures adorning the walls, this incredible and versatile space is the perfect setting for any event, from seated dinners to drink reception, presentations, fashion shows or filming.
The Great Hall is licenced for Civil Ceremonies and can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 120 guests for a wedding service and the same again for a seated lunch or dinner.
The Hall looks beautiful set up with either long tables or more traditional round but also provides a stunning backdrop for a standing reception for up to 150 guests.
We offer exclusive hire between May- December, allowing you to truly make this historical gem yours for the day.
