A new next-generation IMAX with Laser 4k projector joins the much-loved IMAX 70mm film projector giving you the rare opportunity to view the latest in immersive technology all on one giant screen – one of only two screens in Europe to feature the best of digital and analogue cinema.
For large-scale conferences or product launches, the IMAX has maximum impact with a screen the size of four double-decker buses, 11.5m-wide stage and 400-seat auditorium. Its image-maximum technology, state-of-the-art surround-sound and one of the world’s sophisticated projectors, makes the IMAX ideal for presentations or screenings.
Daytime hire of the IMAX includes use of the IMAX foyer and either Engineer Your Future or the Flight gallery as breakout or catering areas.
Events that have utilised the IMAX in recent years have included the Government Science & Engineering Conference, a hybrid event which required 3 simultaneous breakout rooms, and the Imperial College Business School Welcome Day who commented that the IMAX added a ‘cinematic feel to the session.’
