Event Concept shines the light on the incredible women behind the scenes

Despite the remarkable talent and potential of women, there is a distinct scarcity of female applicants for backstage production roles. Event Concept is actively working to address this underrepresentation.

A lovely breakfast hosted at the National Portrait Gallery, surrounded by the gallery’s collection highlighting the often overlooked stories of individual women shaping British history and culture, was a great opportunity for Event Concept to bring together a fantastic female tech and scenic team and shine a spotlight on the issue.

Event Concept is committed to providing equal opportunities for all genders in every aspect of production, and to breaking down barriers to entry.
