Events specialists Seasoned will be responsible for providing management and catering services at The London Dungeon, Madame Tussauds London (and Movies at Madame Tussauds London), Shrek’s Adventure! London and SEA LIFE London Aquarium as part of the deal with Merlin Events, a subsidiary of the attractions’ owners Merlin Entertainments.
Continuing with their existing catering partnership, the contract will now include event delivery, site management, approved supplier management, build and breakdown and the co-ordination of other suppliers on site.
Colin Sayers, Managing Partner of Seasoned, said: “It’s an epic collaboration and we’re absolutely thrilled to be working with the Merlin Events London team to further expand and develop our already-successful partnership.
“Merlin’s attractions already have household name status, and our mission is to actively raise awareness of these amazing spaces for event buyers looking for genuinely unique venues.”
The attractions, which were previously managed by Merlin’s in-house events team, have hosted awards dinners, private parties, dinner dances, cocktail parties, Christmas parties, wedding receptions, Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs.
Matt Worthington, Head of Events at Merlin Events London, said: “We believe we have partnered with one of the best event management teams in the sector and we are very much looking forward to supporting Colin and his team in leading Merlin through our next stage of commercial growth and operational development.”
Seasoned is an independent specialist event caterer, renowned for providing a friendly tailored service of irresistible food and elegant design at London’s most desirable venues.
For four decades the expert team have mastered their craft using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to deliver exceptional food across their innovative Michelin-inspired menus.
Colin Sayers added: “We fully recognise the challenge, along with many other London visitor attractions and venues, that after so many months of closure due to COVID-19, London’s event industry has a long road to recovery ahead of it.
“Society, businesses and brands are desperately craving new experiences and the ability to create emotional touchpoints and interactions with friends, colleagues, customers and clients now more than ever. We cannot wait to start welcoming guests back through the doors and getting back to what we do best, creating fabulous food and events and wonderful memories to share. We’re excited by the challenge to raise the bar and showcase Merlin to a new audience!”
