The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) rebrands its meetings and events venue to RCP London Events

Tuesday, April 20, 2021 - 13:00

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) announces an exciting rebrand of its meetings and events venue to RCP London Events. The rebrand includes a new website and visuals to reflect the evolution of the business as it gets ready to re-open its doors on 21st June.

RCP London Events hosts over 570 events per year at its London location, which boasts 18 conference and event spaces including tiered auditoriums, conference, meeting, exhibition and dining spaces as well as a medicinal garden ideal for summer entertaining.

The venue also hosts fully managed virtual and hybrid events through its virtual event platform. All revenue generated from commercial events, helps to support college activities and patient care.

The rebrand creates a new visual identity for RCP that is respectful to its 500 years of history and heritage while adding a strong sense of personality to encompass and reflect the venue’s established reputation, connecting its history with its modern presence and bridging the gap between physical and virtual. It comes at an exciting time for RCP London Events which has won numerous awards and accolades over the past few years.

The venue is the first and only royal college to achieve The Carbon Trust Standard certification following a reduction of 30% in its total carbon footprint over the past three years and holds ISO 14001 standard certification for environmental best practice. It has also recently been accredited AIM Secure by The Meetings Industry Association after a panel of independent industry assessors scrutinised the venue against a robust checklist of criteria. Winning Best Conference Venue under 450 theatre style in the 2020 Conference Awards and Best Conference Venue under 400 theatre style in the 2019 London Venue Awards has been a particular highlight for the team.

RCP London Events’, Head of Commercial Events, Natacha Allen, says: “We’ve worked incredibly hard on the rebrand over the last two years and are excited to be able to finally reveal the new brand to the events industry.

“Our new website better reflects our changing service menu, not least our fully managed virtual and hybrid event offering which has helped many of our clients to continue meeting throughout the pandemic. It is bright, succinct and easy to navigate.

“We cannot wait to re-open our doors to events in the coming months and continue to do what we do best.”
