Sarah Franczak Appointed to the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) Board

Sarah Franczak, Chief Operating Officer at Central Hall Westminster, and part of Central Hall Venues, has been appointed to the MIA board.

The Meetings Industry Association (MIA), is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Franczak to its esteemed board. The MIA, founded by a proactive group of hotel and event venue operators and booking agents, is dedicated to providing education, training, best practice guidance, accreditation, and a voice to government within the industry.

Kerrin MacPhie, chief executive of the Meetings Industry Association (MIA), said:

“I’m delighted to welcome Sarah Franczak to the MIA board. Her wealth of experience in the events industry and her appreciation of the many areas within it make her a valuable asset for the association. Sarah is a proven ambassador for the sector, having attracted and delivered a number of world class events in London and has driven change in many of her roles, including in her current position of chief operating officer at Central Hall Venues.  We very much look forward to tapping into Sarah’s expertise and knowledge as we grow, develop and support our members at the MIA.”
