Seasoned Ask Their Clients

Wednesday, July 8, 2020 - 16:30

Seasoned, London event caterers, have taken the lockdown period as an opportunity to talk to their clients and get a real understanding of what is important to them now and moving forward in the changing face of event requirements.

When asked what the biggest driver was when selecting which venue and caterer to work with for an event, one might assume it was price, but actually it was communication. The clients highlighted that communication was vital from the first contact with venues and caterers all the way through to post event and that areas of particular importance were quick and regular updates, and the knowledge of the people they were talking to.

The feedback included that this was one of the key reasons that clients selected to work with Seasoned, which endorses Seasoned’s investment in training their teams, not only in their knowledge of catering, but in the venues as well.

Clients also indicated that how they would like to be communicated with has changed, even before the day to day use of video calls over the past few months, Seasoned’s clients were seeing the increasing value in holding virtual meetings in all stages of the event process, from the proposals at the sales stage through to the event details closer to the event date. The biggest advantages were seen as saving on time and travel but without losing the ability to build lasting relationships with those they were working with.

Seasoned is a leading London event caterer at some of the finest venues in London and is made up of a team of venue management experts. Its exceptional venue list includes Guildhall, Somerset House, Natural History Museum, Somerset House, Lancaster House and St. Paul’s Cathedral.

For ten years Seasoned has held their ISO 14001 Environmental Management accreditation undertaking initiatives to reduce food waste, carbon emissions and recycle as much as possible across the business. This year Seasoned will have held ISO 9001 Quality Management accreditation, ISO 22000 Food Safety Management accreditation and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management accreditation for ten years.
