The Performance Hall at the Royal College of Music is one of the College’s newly built venues. It is an elegant space with a beautiful wooden lattice panelling encasing state of the art acoustic panelled walls. It is made with smaller, more intimate performances, such as chamber concerts, in mind and can accommodate 20 performers on stage.
The stage is accessible and adjustable with different set-ups, making it bigger or smaller according to your performance or event size. A large screen fills the entire backdrop of the stage, perfect for accompanying artwork or promotional material.
The hall is licensed for public concerts and has two grand pianos, one Fazioli and one Steinway D grand. The Performance Hall comfortably seats up to 150 guests theatre-style. With the newly installed projector screen, lighting and sound equipment, and technical support from the RCM Studios team, the space is perfect for conferences, presentations, and seminars. There is also the possibility of using additional areas around the College for breakout rooms throughout the day.
This versatile space can also be a unique setting for dinners of up to 70, with stunning architecture providing the perfect backdrop to your event. You may also wish to consider a chamber music performance by some of the College’s students during your dinner to make your event extra special!
