Thursday, March 28, 2019 - 10:15

With the sun shining and temperatures rising, it’s time to start planning summer festivities.

From grand outdoor stadiums to secluded English gardens, there is a London venue this summer for anyone looking to host an event that is guaranteed to dazzle and delight attendees.

While the weather in London can be unpredictable during the summer, most venues provide magnificent indoor spaces catering to groups both large and small should the heavens open! No matter the setting, guests will certainly be impressed.

If you are aiming to throw the perfect summer party that will be talked about for years to come, look no further than these five striking venues sure to heat up the capital this summer season.

Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum offers a range of cool and tranquil outdoor and indoor spaces to host the perfect summer party. The spacious Darwin Centre courtyard can be themed for your event and the museum’s caterers offer a range of summer menu options to match.

Starting summer 2019, the Darwin Centre private landscaped courtyard is available as part of an inclusive summer party package, with prices starting from £80 per person for parties of 100-300 guests.

This fantastic summer party package guarantees access from 5pm-10pm (with guest arrival at 6pm) and offers unlimited house wine, beer and soft drinks, as well as three savoury street food items from a choice of over 70 delectable options.

Summer festival décor, a live acoustic band, staffed cloakroom, and a security team are also included, along with full event management support.

Royal Museums Greenwich

At Royal Museums Greenwich (RMG), there is over 10,000 sqm of outdoor space that holds The Queen’s House and National Maritime Museum.

This outdoor space is perfect for daytime activities; whether you are looking to play a refined game of croquet or organise a fun treasure hunt, the grounds at RMG provide the space you need to get away from the smoky city and feel right at home.

RMG are partnering with two top caterers this year to bring you the perfect summer package, and can accommodate a range of dining options from relaxed street food to barbecues.

Harrow School

Located in a 300-acre leafy estate, Harrow School provides the perfect backdrop for a summer soiree.

The modern Shepherd Churchill Room, which can seat up to 80 guests but also works well for standing receptions of up to 120, is the ideal space for family gatherings, corporate receptions and summer parties. A variety of fun activities and entertainment can also be arranged, such as croquet on the terrace lawn, acoustic bands and innovative food stations.

Museum of the Order of St John

A hidden gem filled with history and intrigue, the Museum of the Order of St John will transport you to the South of France via the beautiful Cloister Garden with Party Ingredients’ ‘Summer in Provence’ package.

Surrounded by the rich aroma of lavender and scent of roses, guests can enjoy all types of gatherings under the shade of the garden’s 200-year-old olive tree.

Twickenham Stadium

For rugby enthusiasts and novices alike, Twickenham Stadium offers an abundance and variety of spaces and venues perfect for summer events.

From pitch-side barbecues and team-building on The Patch to get-togethers on the rooftop in the British Airways Rose Garden, there is something for everyone at this awe-inspiring location.
