Dulwich Picture Gallery

“The first purpose built public art gallery in the world.”

Dulwich Picture Gallery is the first purpose built public art gallery in the world, housing one of the most important collections of Old Master paintings. Sir John Soane's seminal gallery includes works by Rembrandt, Rubens, Canaletto, Poussin and Gainsborough.

The Gallery provides an exceptional backdrop for up to 120 for a seated dinner and 250 guests can be invited to a standing reception amongst the Old Masters. Your guests can enjoy exclusive access to the Gallery, which can accomodate all events from wedding ceremonies to intimate champagne receptions and private dinners.

The Linbury Room and Gallery Café, catered exclusively by Creative Taste, were designed by Rick Mather as part of the modern extension, and are available for lunches, dinners and drinks receptions.

The Linbury Room can also be transformed for meetings and conferences, for up to 100 theatre style. These areas are also linked to the Gallery by our glass cloisters, which provide a fabulous mingling area for many events with exceptional views over our beautiful gardens.

For further information about entertaining at Dulwich Picture Gallery, contact the Events Team who are ready to cater for your individual wishes and will ensure your event is a success from beginning to end.
