The National Gallery

The National Gallery houses the national collection of paintings in the Western European tradition from the 13th to the 19th centuries.

It is a beautiful and extraordinarily varied collection, including many famous works: Van Gogh's Sunflowers, Monet's The Water-Lily Pond, JMW Turner's The Fighting Temeraire to name but a few. Located within the heart of central London, where better to entertain your guests than Trafalgar Square?

The National Gallery has a variety of event spaces ranging from picture galleries to modern conference facilities in the Sainsbury Wing. The Gallery can be transformed to accommodate a range of events from a grand dinner to an intimate supper party, a stylish canapé reception, to a key annual conference.

Cloakroom, security staff and a dedicated Event Manager are included in the hire charge of the Gallery's spaces. Every event is bespoke and tailored to your needs with the expert guidance of the Events Team to ensure your event is a complete success.

The Gallery can either be divided in to four separate event spaces or these can be used in conjunction with each other to give an overall capacity of 1,200 guests.

For film-makers the gallery can provide a fantastic range of settings, all served by our many facilities in one of the most central locations in London.
