Wellcome Collection Events Spaces

Located on Euston Road, originally the headquarters for a global charitable foundation since 1936, it is now Wellcome Collection, a fascinating and inspirational venue.

Taking Henry Wellcome’s original will at his word Wellcome Collection opened in 2007 to engage the public not only in our funded projects, but also to bring together the worlds of art and science. This has created a sophisticated conference offer, supported by amazing gallery spaces for evening receptions.

Wellcome Collection is a public venue for the incurably curious, conveniently located on Euston Road, London within a short distance of Euston and Kings Cross mainline stations and St Pancras International. Wellcome Collection houses a state-of-the art conference centre, 4 public exhibition galleries, the Wellcome Library, a café, a restaurant and bookshop. The event spaces offer beautifully, light modern spaces with art from our collections inspiring delegates no matter what the event - board meetings, AGM`s through to drinks receptions and dinners.

The centre-piece is the tiered Henry Wellcome Auditorium which can seat up to 154 delegates, this comes with the Williams Lounge and is perfect for networking. The auditorium includes all AV and a dedicated technician to ensure there are no surprises on the day. Surrounding the auditorium are four flexible event spaces that can be used for a vast range of meetings and events either individually or for exclusive hire.Medicine Now can be hired out for product launches, networking, summer parties etc. and provides a truly unique and thought provoking backdrop for any special evening.

Wellcome Collection embarked in a major redevelopment in 2013 transforming the venue into a bigger, bolder and more curious space for delegates to explore the weird and wonderful, opening up more public spaces and expanding our galleries. There are 4 exhibition spaces, 2 permanent collections – Medicine Man and Medicine Now exploring the connections between medicine, life and art past and present and 2 temporary spaces that host fascinating exhibitions throughout the year that cover various areas of modern medicine as seen through the eyes of patients and artists.
