Tuesday, March 21, 2023 - 21:00

Lords Cricket Ground is home to the oldest sporting Museum in the world, dedicated to tracing the history and development of cricket. In the MCC Museum you will find the famous Ashes trophy.

The Museum’s collection was established in 1864 when Members were invited to donate items of interest to furnish the Pavilion. Today MCC Museum works towards Accreditation Standards and collaborates with a number of national museums and schools through its active loans, community and tours programmes. The Museum can also be used as a unique space to hold a drinks reception for up to 200 guests.

In more recent times, Lord's Cricket Ground has constantly evolved to ensure the retention of its world-class facilities and ensuring the Ground’s reputation for architectural excellence.

The original Compton and Edrich stands located either side of the J.P. Morgan Media Centre opened in 1991. reconstruction of the suites started in 2018 and was completed in the summer of 2021. Combining outstanding design with stunning views of the main ground and the iconic Pavilion, the Edrich offers a fine dining experience, and the Compton offers the perfect place for an atmospheric drink’s receptions. Boasting luxury and sustainability the newest spaces have it all. These stands recently secured the award for best development or new facility. The Judges praised the stands for their sustainability features which include being heated and cooled entirely from renewable energy, and green walls made up of 12,000 plants to provide wildlife habitats.

The Warner Stand 2014-2017: The development of this stand was to increase capacity on a matchday. Along with this came a stunning new event space: Pelham’s, which features floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light and fantastic views of the main ground.

The J.P. Morgan Media Centre, constructed in 1999: The world’s only single-shell aluminium building, this futuristic pod was an extraordinary engineering feat achieved through the precision of shipbuilders and offers a great opportunity for entertaining, with panoramic views of the ground. The building was widely acclaimed and won no fewer than eight architectural awards.

The Nursery Pavilion: constructed in 1999 to provide a venue for matchday hospitality. Overlooking the Nursery Ground, which is used by players to warm up before a match, this is the largest event space, and one of London’s largest event spaces. The Nursery Pavilion offers a massive 1,000 square metres for a sporting event.
