Exciting Exhibitions and Even More Exciting Events at Sir John Soane’s Museum

April 2025

On 12 February Soane and Modernism: Make It New, an exhibition which places drawings from Soane’s collection in dialogue with work by modernist architects such as Le Corbusier and Frank Lloyd Wright, opened to rave reviews at the Sir John Soane's Museum. With a selection of old and new works on display for the first time ever, it is well worth making a trip to the Museum to see it. The exhibition will run until 18 May 2025.

In other news the Valentine’s Day Twilight Tours were a real hit! Thanks to their expert guides, everyone left having fallen even more in love with the Museum (and hopefully each other!). Visit the Museum after dark for a special artist in residence inspired Soane Late on 25 April. Soane Late: Quartet for Worm will give visitors the opportunity to engage with The Lesbian Rule, new work by Turner Award nominated artist Paul Noble. Inspired by his time in Soane’s Drawing Office and the technical drawings in the collection, Noble asks viewers to consider measurement of ourselves and the spaces we occupy.
