The London Library is delighted to announce the opening of the New Room, an elegant and versatile addition to our events offering. This dedicated space has been thoughtfully designed to host conferences, meetings, intimate dinners, and receptions from daytime through to evening, offering a truly distinctive setting in central London.

Equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual facilities, the New Room seamlessly blends modern functionality with the rich literary heritage of the Library. Carefully curated details celebrate our community and history, including browsable shelves showcasing works from our Emerging Writers Programme alumni, striking wall panels highlighting notable books written by members, and a selection of rare and intriguing items drawn from our archives.

This distinctive setting provides a refined and inspiring backdrop for a wide range of events, combining contemporary comfort with the Library’s unique intellectual atmosphere. It also reflects our ambition to broaden our events audience while directly supporting and expanding our learning and participation work with charities, schools, and partner organisations.
