Kensington Palace Presents: The Last Princesses of Punjab

May 2026

This powerful new exhibition at Kensington Palace explores the extraordinary life of Princess Sophia Duleep Singh: suffragette, royal, and activist, alongside the influential women in her family. Through rarely seen objects, letters, photography and immersive interpretation, it reveals a compelling narrative of empire, exile and resistance, marking the 150th anniversary of Sophia’s birth.

The exhibition can be experienced through private guided tours, offering exclusive access with expert interpretation tailored to audience interests. These take place before the palace opens to the public, creating a more intimate and engaging environment for networking, learning and discussion.
