The Baby Bank – Providing Essentials with Dignity

The Baby Bank, which has supported over 41,000 individuals since 2015, uses the funds from flower sales to buy critical items such as:

• 140 mattresses for newborns, in line with The Lullaby Trust’s safe sleep guidelines
• 174 sets of bedding
• 10 high chairs
• 6 toddler beds
• School readiness kits, bikes, wet wipes, and much more

Because Lavender Green’s support is unrestricted, The Baby Bank can respond to urgent needs quickly – without waiting on lengthy grant applications.

TVAP – Enriching Lives Through Access & Inclusion

Thames Valley Adventure Playground, a 2.5-acre sanctuary for children and adults with special needs, has raised over £11,000 last year alone from Lavender Green’s flower donations. This has helped:

• Subsidise 430+ children's visits
• Fund vital respite care for families
• Support TVAP’s interactive programs, from music and crafts to theatre performances

The flowers also spark creativity and skill-building amongst the visitors – TVAP even hosts bouquet-making workshops with local restaurants, and envisions more able adults with special needs assisting with flower handling and sales.

A Blooming Cycle of Giving

Each floral donation from Lavender Green is posted to a 255-strong WhatsApp group, where volunteers transform their gardens into vibrant pop-up flower markets. Events in affluent areas like Ascot and Windsor have raised up to £4,500 in a single weekend, with flowers offered at suggested donations—often half the retail price.
