After almost three decades with By Word of Mouth, Rick Perry is stepping into the role of Chair, whilst the team has welcomed Jack Franklin as Managing Director. 

Rick Perry started his career at By Word of Mouth as an event planner and progressed steadily over the years, leading the company for more than a decade. By Word of Mouth has gone from strength to strength during his tenure, creating spectacular events at numerous UVL member venues and maintaining its position as one of the leading luxury event caterers. In April of this year, the team celebrated achieving B Corp accreditation. 

Jack Franklin brings a wealth of hospitality experience, gained through past roles as Head of Events at venues including UVL member Roundhouse and, most recently, as Director of Operations at Spectra DMC. This breadth of expertise and experience makes him well placed to guide By Word of Mouth forward and to continue to build on 4 decades of success.
