February 2025
Following on from the sold-out blockbuster, Monet and London. Views of the Thames, the Courtauld Gallery will be opening a new and exciting show this February, The Griffin Catalyst Exhibition: Goya to Impressionism. Masterpieces from the Oskar Reinhart Collection.

A contemporary and collecting at the same time as the Samuel Courtauld, founder of the Courtauld Gallery, Oskar Reinhart brought together works by Van Gogh, Goya, Monet, Picasso and Cezanne, before housing them in a stunning villa outside of Zurich.
Bequeathed to the Swiss confederation on Reinhart’s death and never lent outside Switzerland, this collection works as a perfect continuation and counterpart to our own permanent displays in LVMH Great Room. It’s easy to imagine Samuel Courtauld and Oskar Reinhart both trying to obtain the same works at auction or through their art dealers, so this will be a wonderful opportunity for the two collections to be seen together for the first time.
The Griffin Catalyst Exhibition: Goya to Impressionism. Masterpieces from the Oskar Reinhart Collection opens on the 14 February. Key entertaining dates are still available.
