To mark the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ), Quantum Untangled, a new free season at Science Gallery London (part of King’s College London), will fuse art, science and extraordinary research together to reveal the power quantum possesses to transform our futures.

The season will run from 8 October 2025 - 28 February 2026 and through interactive artworks and the words of physicists, philosophers and poets, it will consider big quantum questions and explore the magnitude of quantum-driven opportunities.

The exhibits at Science Gallery London in Quantum Untangled include two large immersive installations commissioned by ARTlab Nottingham from Conrad Shawcross RA (Ringdown and The Blind Proliferation), Robin Baumgarten’s playful installation Quantum Jungle, poetry from Studio Quantum’s artist in residence Chandrika Narayan-Mohan, photography by David Severn and films developed with the King’s Quantum community.

The exhibition will be accompanied by free events including Friday Lates and a panel discussion in collaboration with the Digital Futures Institute.
