Popular fine-dining experience, Lord’s Dining Club, returns from this October with three incredible Michelin-starred chefs lined up to host the award-winning series. Lisa Goodwin-Allen, Ollie Dabbous and Alex Greene will each host an evening held in the famous Long Room inside the Grade II*-listed Pavilion at Lord’s Cricket Ground with an exclusively designed four-course menu. Lisa Goodwin-Allen, Head Chef of the Michelin-starred and prestigious Northcote restaurant hosts the homecoming event of the Dining Club on Tuesday 26 October. Lisa expresses her creative flair through her use of interesting ingredients, techniques and experimentation, creating dishes with a playful twist on traditional Lancashire cuisine.
Hosting the opening event in 2022 is one of the most exciting talents in British cooking, Ollie Dabbous. Chef Patron of Hide, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Mayfair. Ollie has forged an accomplished and courageous reputation among the London fine dining scene. With extensive experience working in some of the UK’s best kitchens, Ollie’s creations feature the very best ingredients boasting incredible skill, and technique to produce an unforgettable dish.
Both Northcote and Hide have recently been placed in the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards which celebrates the best of the UK dining scene.
The third highly acclaimed chef to complete the line-up is Alex Greene who hails from farming roots in Northern Ireland and will be hosting Lord’s Dining Club on Tuesday 29 March. His impressive experience has led him to head up the kitchen at the Michelin-starred Deane’s EIPIC. Alex’s classic-style cooking features modern twists to design stylish and flavoursome food.
Lord’s Dining Club begins with a Nyetimber sparkling wine reception with a selection of canapés served in the Long Room Bar – or in the famous Dressing Room for those who wish to indulge with a VIP package. The experience is for food lovers and cricket fans alike to savour, with the evening concluding with a Q&A with the chefs, hosted by former England cricketer Angus Fraser.
