Horniman Museum & Gardens

Horniman Museum & Gardens is a beautiful location in London set in over 16 acres of gardens with breath taking views across London. The gardens are home to three unique venues available for private hire; the Conservatory, the Pavilion and the Bandstand. Whether you are planning a special celebration, wedding or a corporate away day the Horniman has the ideal space for you.

Conservatory - The exquisite Victorian Conservatory stands within a stylish terrace and allows guests to enjoy easy access to the Horniman’s 16.5 acres of award-winning gardens. The Grade II listed space, full of original features, is perfect for special events as its grand elegance requires minimal decoration. It is regularly used for weddings, drinks receptions, funerals, photoshoots and parties.

Bandstand - The Grade II Bandstand is a distinctive feature of the gardens. The Bandstand offers a picturesque snapshot of a bygone era. With stunning views across the surrounding gardens to the skyline London, it provides the perfect back drop for small, intimate occasions,  summer weddings and drinks receptions or photoshoots. 

Pavilion - Situated in a quiet corner with hilltop views across the Horniman’s landscaped gardens, the Pavilion is a calm and peaceful contemporary venue. It is a bright and airy space with floor to ceiling windows which fold back across the front of the building to give full access to a large private terrace overlooking the London skyline.

In addition to the spaces to hire, the site includes three public galleries encompassing internationally important collections of anthropology, natural history and musical instruments, plus an Aquarium and Butterfly House.
