Built on historic foundations at the very heart of the capital, Somerset House is London’s working arts centre - home to the UK’s largest creative community and one of London’s best loved public spaces. It is also so much more than a building, it is a global platform for creativity, dedicated to nurturing and empowering ideas, backing newness and championing openness.

Somerset House offers 12 impressive blank canvas event spaces, suitable for staging events of all styles and sizes.

Private Views

For the ultimate 24/7 experience you can privately hire the exhibition out of hours, followed by an evening reception in our Great Arch Hall. Within the reception space you will experience a new live data visualisation created by Somerset House Studios resident Tekja. The three-dimensional projection displays live data revealing the rhythms of sleeplessness worldwide and exploring the relationship between time and sleep in the connected 24/7 world.

Please note that all catering, production and furniture etc. are separate to the venue hire fee and must be provided by one of our accredited suppliers.

Ensure your event at Somerset House is truly memorable by combining it with exclusive access to 24/7. Offer your guests the opportunity to experience this ticketed exhibition.

Available every morning before 10.00 and every evening; Mon-Tue 18.30–20.00 or Wed – Fri 20.30-22.00 for an additional £1,500 + VAT.

Options to add additional guides throughout the exhibition are also available. Please ask the team for more information.

2. INCLUDE GUEST TICKETS

Include 24/7 tickets as part of your event booking, as an additional activity for guests during opening hours.

3. EXHIBITION TOURS

Tours are available for up to 25 people per tour. Tours last approximately 60 minutes and two tours can run simultaneously. Tours are only available outside of opening hours and are subject to availability.

4. EXHIBITION TALKS

Offer your guests a curated talk on the themes of the exhibition before exploring the space. Subject to availability.

Wake-Up Call For Our Non-Stop World

This Autumn, Somerset House presents 24/7, a landmark exhibition examining our inability to switch off from our 24/7 culture, through a series of immersive works from some of today's most exciting global artists. Over 50 multi-disciplinary works have been brought together to explore the unrelenting pressure to produce and consume around the clock. The exhibition takes visitors on a 24-hour cycle from dawn to dusk through interactive installations.

For the ultimate 24/7 experience you can privately hire the exhibition out of hours, followed by an evening reception in our Great Arch Hall. Available on Mondays and Tuesdays only. Guest access from 18:30-22:00 for a cost of £6,500 + VAT.

Alternatively ensure your event at Somerset House is truly memorable by combining your venue hire with exclusive access to 24/7 for your guests. Available every morning before 10:00 and every evening: Mon Tues 18:30-20:00 or Wed-Fri 20:30-22:00 for an additional £1,500 + VAT.

Or include 24/7 tickets as part of your event bookings, as an additional activity for guests during opening hours. Tours are available for up to 25 people per tour and last approximately 60 minutes. Tour guides are an additional cost of £250 + VAT, per tour. Tours are only available outside of opening hours and are subject to availability.

Moreover, offer your guests a 30 minute introduction and exclusive insight into themes of the exhibition. Followed by a Q&A, before exploring the space. Talks are subject to availability and start from £500 + VAT per talk.
