In three days, Event Concept (EC), creative event agency and production company, turned Somerset House into three completely different experiences. A Christmas gala for a global financial firm. A stripped-back industry forum for Vogue Business. A retro tech dinner for Twilio, complete with LED tunnels and unmistakably 90s design cues. Each event had its own identity, its own pace, and its own audience. What they shared was a starting point: the same four walls, and the same team behind the scenes, reshaping them from the ground up.

Financial Services: A Global Corporate Christmas Gala, Grounded in Detail

For a global finance firm’s Christmas party, EC designed a journey through three continents. Guests moved from a drinks reception “in Manhattan” to a cherry blossom–filled dinner in Asia, before ending the night in a South American after-party.

EC delivered the scenic and production behind each twist and turn, proving you really can go around the world in an evening.

Fashion: Vogue Business Fashion Futures

Next came a reset. Minimal, sculptural, and future-facing. Vogue Business Fashion Futures took over the space, bringing together industry leaders to discuss innovation, sustainability, and the future of fashion.

From immersive panel discussions to networking moments in a bespoke setting, every detail was designed to align with the event’s forward-thinking ethos.

Technology: A Nineties Throwback with Twilio

Then EC turned the clock back. For this executive dinner celebrating 30 years of innovation, they transformed Somerset House into a journey through time, going back 30 years to 1994. They built a tunnel of LED screens, giant NOKIA phones and a retro TV wall playing shows like Friends. From concept to construction, every detail was designed to spark memories and tap into a shared sense of nostalgia.
