A Unique Christmas with Moving Venue

Moving Venue, one of London’s leading event caterers, are delivering over 35 events in many unique venues over the month of December.

With an incredibly dedicated team who are very knowledgeable in the industry and understand the quirks and idiosyncrasies of catering events in such venues. This has therefore given Moving Venue the reputation as one of the ‘go to’ caterer during the festive period. They are also incredibly proud to be the dedicated catering partner at three unique venues this Christmas season.

At LSO St Luke’s, the stunning Grade I listed 18th-century church has been transformed into the ultimate Christmas event space, conveniently located on the edge of the City in Shoreditch. With beautifully illuminated spires, towering ceilings and a juxtaposing mix of modern and new architecture and set design inside, it truly makes for a wonderful Christmas party venue. Moving Venue have been delivering exclusive parties at the venue for over 8 years. This year, they have 7 events over the season with some clients that have returned to the venue year on year which is testament to the brilliant partnership they have with the LSO and their home.

Freemason’s Hall is absolutely guaranteed to impress guests with the sheer scale and grandeur of its beautiful setting right in the middle of the west end. Moving Venue’s parent company, Smart Group, work with the venue to create two distinct event spaces in the Grade II listed majestic space. The first space, downstairs in the Gallery offers seated dinners for up to 220 guests whilst upstairs, in the Temple, 1,300 guests can enjoy a standing reception. Each space has it’s own entrance and operates independently. This, year, both spaces have been transformed with a sensational Masquerade theme with a stunning recreation of a Venetian carnival. Smart Group have collaborated with Freemason’s Hall since 2017 to deliver Christmas Parties with Moving Venue as the dedicated catering partner. This year, they are extremely excited to be catering 19 events over the festive season at Freemason’s Hall. 

Another fantastic venue located in the heart of the city is the Museum of London, London Wall. Guests explore London’s history as they make their way through the museum galleries from Roman settlements to the historic 2012 London Olympics. On entering the Ellipse Hall, guests are wowed by the 360-degree digital ellipse which displays twinkling night lights and swaying chandelier, which gives a modern twist to the venue. Moving Venue are catering 6 events at the venue this year ranging from large scale standing receptions for 900 guests to seated dinners for 350 guests. Having been the dedicated catering partner for Museum of London during the festive period since 2017, this year is extra special being that the museum is due to move location to Smithfield’s Market.  

After many years of Christmas parties being affected by the pandemic, they are incredibly excited to be delivering so many festive events.  Throughout the month of December, Moving Venue will cater for over 39,000 guests across London. Their extensive experience in delivering such spectacular parties makes them a trusted partner across a wonderful portfolio of venues this season.
