On a sunny mid-April evening, the Wallace Collection collaborated with the Golborne Collection to celebrate the arrival of Spring. Industry friends gathered in the Courtyard to embrace the season in full bloom, discovering the alfresco charm of this unique event space, brought to life with fresh florals, a seasonal menu, and an abundance of colour.

The evening began with a glass of champagne in the Ground Floor Galleries, where guests were surrounded by the opulent Gold and Red silk wallpapers of the State Rooms. The Dining Room curtains were then dramatically pulled back to reveal the Courtyard, transformed into a vibrant celebration of spring.

Soft drapery reimagined the Wallace bar as a ‘colour station’, where guests enjoyed personalised colour matching alongside a selection of seasonal cocktails and canapés. Production by Wise Productions and elegant furnishings from Elite Furniture Hire helped transform the space, while live entertainment from ALR Music added energy to the evening.

Guests were then invited to gather around a central curved table for a fresh, seasonal menu designed by Last Supper. Set upon floral linens from Chateau Noir, Veevers Carter curated an elegant tablescape of spring blooms. Tall, winding stems were set on subtle moving bases which gently swirled across the tabletop. Nestled among the flowers, Jo Malone’s tapered candles filled the space with the scent of spring.

The evening drew to a close with a final round of cocktails and dessert canapés, as guests stepped out into the warm night, already anticipating the summer gatherings to come.
