Looking for the perfect setting to host your summer celebration? We offer three stunning outdoor venues designed for unforgettable al fresco parties and receptions: the Pavilion Roof Terrace, the Centurions Roof Terrace, and the Harris Garden.
The Harris Garden is ideal for relaxed summer events, featuring two bars, outdoor seating, and retractable umbrellas. It’s perfect for gatherings of 50 to 200 guests.

For striking views and elegant space, the Pavilion Roof Terrace spans the entire length of the Pavilion and includes two turret bars overlooking the main ground—ideal for up to 200 standing guests.

Summer celebrations still going strong at the Design Museum

The Design Museum has a variety of beautiful spaces on offer to celebrate the summer season, from alfresco drinks on its leafy plaza and parties in the Atrium to exhibition viewings paired with Nyetimber. This August and September, there are opportunities for last-minute celebrations, stylish networking evenings or client gatherings, with flexible packages ideal for short lead bookings. 

The Garden Party Package includes exclusive garden hire for up to 150 guests, with options for canapés or bowl food and unlimited drinks during golden hour.

Inside, the Atrium Party Package provides access to one of the museum’s major exhibitions, a DJ and drinks on arrival, creating a memorable backdrop for a summer soiree.

The Little Banqueting House & The Garden Room at Hampton Court Palace

Take advantage of the last weeks of the summer weather with the charming and peaceful Little Banqueting House at Hampton Court Palace. This unique and characterful venue is set within the formal gardens with beautiful views of the palace and River Thames. Ideal for receptions and smaller dinners and available for both daytime and evening hire, the Little Banqueting House is the perfect late summer venue for smaller events.

Also situated amongst the grandeur of Hampton Court Palace is the Garden Room. This bright, airy 1920s-style orangery opens out into a walled garden reserved exclusively for you and your guests. Available during the day, this space is ideal for corporate away days and large meetings or for stunning evening receptions and dinners. The HAC

Making the most of summer at the HAC

The HAC has limited availability across August and September for those planning last-minute celebrations or events this summer across its indoor and outdoor spaces.

Clients can choose a fully bespoke celebration to bring their summer vision to life or opt for the venue’s popular Great British Summer Fête package. This seasonal option includes traditional fête games, summer menus courtesy of Searcys and access to one of the most unique outdoor settings in the City.
